UN OCHA is deploying an UNDAC team to Tunisia

UN OCHA has deployed an UNDAC team (United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination) to Tunisia to assist with the humanitarian efforts in helping refugees from Libya.

IHP is supporting the UN efforts with a two man team from DSB in Norway. The team will support UNDAC with telecommunications and IT facilities.

The photos show the situation on ground with a growing refugee camp, the On Site Operations and Coordination Centre (OSOCC) in function and Jan Olsson, who is a part of the UNDAC support staff team from IHP.
