Asia-Pacific Humanitarian Partnership/Americas Support Team

The idea and concept of the IHP has meanwhile been ‘exported’ to other regions. In the Asia-Pacific regions, Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore) form the Asia-Pacific Humanitarian Partnership (APHP) which is so far mainly providing support services in terms of technical support to UN humanitarian operations.

In the Americas region, the US Office for Development Assistance (OFDA), and the international NGO Telecoms sans Frontiers (TSF) are forming the Americas Support Team (AST) with the aim of providing IT support services to UNDAC missions in the Americas region.
